As part of our Full Management Plus service, landlords benefit from comprehensive rent and legal protection through an insurance-backed policy. This provides vital financial security in the event of non-payment and covers the legal costs of regaining possession.
This added layer of protection is designed to safeguard your rental income and reduce the stress and uncertainty that can arise when a tenancy does not go to plan.
What’s Included in the Rent & Legal Protection
✔ Cover for the full monthly rent (policy limits apply)
✔ Missed rental payments covered until vacant possession is obtained or for up to 15 months, whichever occurs first
✔ Up to three months’ rental payments at a reduced percentage following vacant possession, where applicable
✔ Professional legal costs covered up to £100,000 for eviction proceedings arising from certain breaches of the tenancy agreement
✔ Cover for breaches of the tenancy agreement by the tenant, including non-payment of rent
✔ Policy applies to the property rather than the individual tenant, meaning cover can continue when tenants change (subject to referencing criteria)
✔ 12-month policy term
✔ Payments may continue beyond the end of the policy term where a valid claim is ongoing
